College Board responds to AP testing upload errors

The College Board reported that in the first week of AP testing, 2.2 million exams were taken. During the first week of testing, social media and other channels had countless reports of students experiencing submission issues during their testing. In response, the College Board has implemented a new safety feature that students can use to upload a copy of their test answer, in the case of a failure of the College Board system.

Using the new email to upload feature

The new safety feature for exams should allow all students to complete their exams. Beginning with testing on May 18th, students will see a personalized email address displayed on the testing screen after they finish their exam. If the student had uploading issues, such as the submit button not working, this email will help alleviate those issues. Students whose submissions are unsuccessful will now see instructions about how to email their responses on the page at the end of the exam that says "We did not receive your response." The email address that appears in these instructions is unique to each student and will expire at the end of the testing session (it is not clear in the College Board post how long this email will be active for).

I missed the submission of my previous exam. Can I submit it now?
